Role Overview: 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by engaging and converting qualified leads, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a proven record of consistently exceeding sales targets in a tech-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales & Lead Conversion: 

  • Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle – from lead qualification to closing.
  • Convert inbound and outbound leads into long-term business opportunities.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to craft tailored client solutions.
  • Respond to RFPs, create proposals, and negotiate terms and pricing effectively.
  • Track and follow up on leads using CRM tools, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline.

Client Communication & Relationship Management: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients; clearly articulate company offerings and value propositions.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.
  • Foster trust and build strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term engagement.
  • Understand client pain points and align solutions to their business needs.

Strategy & Reporting: 

  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to align on campaigns and messaging.
  • Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and customer feedback to improve process efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on pipeline health, forecasts, and revenue projections.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a strong focus on IT services, software, or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of successfully converting leads and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of B2B IT sales cycles and buyer personas.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients across global markets.
  • Knowledge of technical concepts like cloud, DevOps, AI, or app development is a plus.
