Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with over 2 years of experience in managing financial operations for an IT company. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and report on variances between actuals and budgeted performance.
Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and client accounts.
- Generate MIS reports for senior management.
Payroll Management:
- Manage payroll processing and compliance with labor laws.
- Handle employee expense reimbursements.
Vendor & Client Management:
- Coordinate with vendors for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Follow up with clients for payment collection.
Financial Systems:
- Use accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks for record-keeping.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive, preferably in an IT company.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of IT industry-specific financial practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
